Washington, DC – Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, a senior member of the House Committee on Science and Technology, today released the following statement on President Obama’s nomination of General Charles Bolden as Administrator of NASA:

“General Charles Bolden served his country for more than three decades in the United States Marine Corps and for more than a decade in the NASA Astronaut Corps.  He is the ideal choice for NASA Administrator, and I know he will bring intelligence, energy and leadership to an agency that is at the forefront of scientific discovery.”
